What is an Aftermarket Part?
Aftermarket is a generic name that Compressed Air Parts Company started using to describe its parts. Others may use the term "replacement" , "made to fit" or "like"
We wanted to have a catchy name to call our own.
Our definition of aftermarket air compressor parts is exactly that. A part that is manufactured by companies all around the world and supplied to all of the OEM's like Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Sullair(R) etc. They use these parts while assembling their equipment. These same manufacturers supply the same parts to distributors of "other" markets to sell. The only difference in some of these parts is the branding, and or color. Others simply repackage in something with their name on it. If your equipment is out of warranty why would you want to overspend on the maintenance items?
